A December wedding with a guard of honour from the army.
Aoife got ready with her bridesmaids in emerald green, and Eoghan was in his army dress uniform, with plenty of his comrades there to see him off.
After the ceremony the soldiers lined up outside for a guard of honour, which was a sight to see. Then a vintage car took the two of them out to Charles Fort for portraits on the old bridge in the winter light, with a stop in a cosy pub on the way.
Back at Ballincurra House there were speeches, a singer in a blue suit with a flamenco dancer, and a dance floor that went on late.
