A November city wedding, with Galway lit up for Christmas.
Joe and Maura kept it relaxed: a ceremony surrounded by family and friends, more hugs than formalities, and a celebrant who had everyone laughing.
Then we went out into Galway for night portraits. There were Christmas lights strung across the streets, the red front of T.J. Clarke's, the river and its bridges lit up in the dark, and a rooftop view over the city. Galway at night is a gift for a photographer.
Back at The Dean Hotel the party got going, with a lot of friends and not much sitting down.
